Celebrating the 4th of July, 2021 at the Meetinghouse c. 1759

President Dana Peck, in period costume, describes the contributions of Jeremiah Hill to his community and Vice President Paul McDonough shares history of the Meetinghouse with two former students.

The Open House attracted a number of folks from Kennebunk and surrounding towns with a much shared history.

It is our goal to present this sacred site to people as a means to promote educational and historical benefits in the most welcoming manner possible.

Our first weekend of “Open Houses” was another successful venture on the part of the Biddeford Historical Society.

Thank you and we look forward to meeting others in the weeks to come.
